For those who don’t know I currently have all entries on this website reposted onto a xanga.com account. There are a couple of reasons for this, the main one being that I have a LOT of friends that use Xanga and this makes it much easier for them to read my writings. Second, this does spread the word and hopefully promote what I write a little bit.
Why the “Bigger is Better” title? Cause I saw flock.com’s start page a while back and they had a big font on it and I really liked it. So, today I decided to make my Xanga like that. Let me know what you think.
No.
Just… no.
Sorry, but it’s not working for me. Big is good for short texts and buttons and such, but I don’t think your articles are very readable in that big a font – maybe you should try for a golden middle, but that there is just silly. I had to adjust the text size down a lot to be able to cope with the text (I think it has to do with how I reckognize words as shapes rather than series of individual letters, and when they’re too big, they don’t look the same to my brain.) – and then I could hardly find the comment link, because that had turned tiny tiny.
Thanks for the link to the article though, I’m definately looking into big for my web app projects.
Hmm, I don’t really like the bigger is better version of you xanga at all. MAybe it just didn’t look right in IE, which i’m using right now. What about it do you like? Your xanga the way it is in xanga is really cool, why the big font version now?
