I’ve been struggling with whether or not I’ve been posting too much and I’m interested in hearing your feedback.
I did take a chance to look at some other feedback, my webstats.
Minus the weeks where I forgot to add the webstats code, it seems like I’ve averaged a little over 100 unique visitors a week (I’m not quite sure how it defines unique). Anyways, this week we had over 248 unique visitors, 578 page views, 136 first time visitors and 58 returning visitors. That’s not too bad, at least better then what I was looking for.
But seriously, What do you think of the amount of posts this week?
I think that you have been doing a really good job with posts lately. I feel like they have been more focused, which makes them more interesting. I think that they define “unique” as people who have never been there before.
Oh and I listened to your New Year’s podcast and I think that you and Zach did a great job on it. It was interesting and I thought that you guys kept a good flow going. Do you make an outline before you start recording? I think that it will get even better when you start getting some questions and comments from outside people. Maybe before you talk on a subject you could make a post that has the subject matter of what you are going to do a podcast about and ask a specific question for people to answer and tell them that it is going to be for a podcast. Maybe you have already done this and I have been slow to pick up on it. But if you haven’t an example could be: We are doing a podcast about New Year’s Resolutions. Tell us what you think about New Year’s Resolutions. What are your New Year’s Resolutions? We will incorporate your answers into the show. or something like that.
Do you find that people are scared or timid of posting comments?
