[...] Corporate Responsibility Mondays continue as we discuss your ever so addictive and greedy sweet tooth. As we’ve done before, Josh will be discussing a corporation whose history is nothing to be proud of, and I’ll be talking about a company that is worth supporting. Sort of like Good cop, Bad cop. So be sure to check out Josh’s post about a not so equal food company. [...]

as a related note, dell is also very supportive of open source software which i think is commendable.

first of all, they have a line of inexpensive but pimp notebooks and desktops that they call their "open source line" that basically ship with no OS, but with hardware certified for either redhat or suse linux. but also, i read on slashdot that pretty soon they are going to be shipping laptops preloaded with linux.

i feel this is very good bc it reduces the money we spend on gadgets as well as showing that in many cases there is a better way than the high dollar alternatives, whether we are talking about microsoft or apple from a software perspective.

[...] Realizing that half of what I say is crap and the other half hypocritical at best . . . and realizing that I probably need to reiterate for the 50th time that I’m not a moralist, legalist, or absolutist about anything that I think . . . that there would be no better way to convey both of those points than taking a stab at my golden god . . . Apple. Meanwhile Ariah is blogging about some of the better tech companies out there over on his site. [...]
