thanks for this post on our education system. my interest and concern developed from close friendships with teachers in public education, and has fueled some ongoing research into no child left behind and the implications of its enforcement. living in an urban area and seeing firsthand the effects of public education (or the lack thereof) has only heightened my concerns. thanks for the tip on kozol. i&#039;m familiar with his name, but not his work. that&#039;ll certainly find its way into my reading schedule.
